AL-4(US-78), also known as Parkway Drive, is a major route through the City of Leeds. City offices and facilities, schools,
and many commercial establishments are accessed from Parkway Drive. The project proposed is approximately half a mile long
and is located on US-78 between President Street and Roosevelt Drive in Leeds.
The purpose of the proposed project is to provide safe and efficient access along Parkway Drive. The project would entail
widening from 2 lanes to 3 lanes, which includes a center left turn lane, and constructing sidewalks on the north side of
Parkway Drive from President Street to Park Drive.
