Online and In Person Public Involvement: Access Management on AL-21

Project Overview

Location: Jacksonville (Calhoun County)

ALDOT is proposing to develop traffic operational/access improvements to improve/preserve capacity, reduce congestion, and improve safety near Jacksonville, Alabama. The area experiences high traffic speeds and crash incidents. Improvements at these crossovers and turning lanes will provide a smoother travel experience and will benefit the traveling public by providing safer access management for those using AL-21.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
