In-Person and Online Public Involvement: Access Management on AL-10 (US-231)

Project Overview

Location: Troy (Pike County)

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is proposing to improve traffic flow and address safety concerns by modifying access and reducing conflict points along US-231 in Pike County, Alabama. The proposed project will add concrete islands in the median to restrict unsafe turning movements and add U-turn lanes to provide access to the opposite side of the roadway.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
