Project Overview

Location: Columbia (Houston County)

The project is located in east Houston County in the town of Columbia along AL-52. The proposed project will be a bridge deck rehabilitation, by way of hydro-blasting. The proposed project location is the bridge over the Chatahoochee River along AL-52/GA-62. The project corridor is primarily a two-lane undivided route. The roadway will be closed during the duration of the project, which will result in an off-site detour. The proposed detour will be along AL-52 to Dothan, then utilizing US-84 into Georgia. Followed by GA-370 back to GA-62. The estimated time frame for the detour will be approximately 25 days.
