Project Overview

Location: Eufaula (Barbour County)

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is proposing the replacement of two roadway bridges on AL-1 (US-431) over Cheneyhatchee Creek. These bridges will be replaced with wider bridges to accommodate high roadway traffic volumes. The new bridge will undergo phased construction such that all lanes of traffic remain open during the construction process.

The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
