Online Public Involvement: Concrete Pavement Replacement at Various Locations on US-11

Online Public Involvement: US-11 Concrete Replacement

Project Overview

Location: Coaling (Tuscaloosa County)

The proposed project is located along AL-7 (US-11) north of Coaling in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. The project proposes to replace the concrete pavement along US-11 at its intersection with Lower Coaling Road, Middle Coaling Road, Hagler Coaling Road, and Ed Stephens Road. The implementation of new concrete pavement at these four (4) sites will improve traffic flow along US-11 as a whole. In addition, turn lanes will be added/modified at each of the locations in order to further improve traffic flow/ease of access to each side of the road. The project corridor is approximately 1.7 miles long.
The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
