The proposed project will provide access management features in Southwest Shelby County. The proposed work will include modifying
and removing various driveways, median alterations, and modifying turning movements along US-31 from I-65 to CR-68. Construction
of the project will be completed under normal traffic operations with intermittent lane closures. No right-of-way is anticipated
for the proposed project.
The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department
of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.
