Project Overview

Location: Huntsville (Madison County)

The proposed project is located on US-72/University Boulevard in the Cities of Madison and Huntsville in Madison County. The project is approximately 5.5 miles long and will include adding an additional travel lane in each direction as well as intersection improvements. Right of way will be required for this project.
The purpose of this public involvement meeting is to inform the public of the design features for the project. The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is interested in obtaining input from the people who use this route.

ALDOT is conducting online public involvement for the proposed project. All comments regarding this project must be submitted on or before June 16, 2022.

INVOLVEMENT MEETING

State of Alabama Department of Transportation will hold a Public Involvement Meeting on Project No. NH-0002(566). This informal meeting will be held as follows:
