Project Overview

Location: Ozark (Dale County)

In Person Meeting: October 4, 2021

The proposed project is located from AL-123 to Deese Road on US-231 in the City of Ozark in Dale County, Alabama.
The project will simplify and smooth the traffic flow along the corridor by modifying or removing a select number of driveways. The project will improve safety and reduce delays along this section of US-231. It will also include new islands, pavement markings, and striping.

ALDOT is conducting online public involvement for the proposed project. All comments regarding this project must be received on or before October 14, 2021.

Ozark will host an In-Person Meeting
Monday, October 4, 2021 from 5pm - 7pm
Ozark City Hall
275 N. Union Ave.
Ozark, Alabama 36360

This will be an Open-House meeting without any formal presentations. Project information, including maps and comment forms, will be available for review. Representatives from the Alabama Department of Transportation will be available to answer questions.

Request for Special Assistance should be received prior to the meeting.
